My spring break has been most eventful =)
Mon--> Shopping with Leeanne, Val and Kim downtown. I bought bath bombs... BOOM!.... my nose was literally broken after smelling about a thousand flavours, I couldn't even tell if the ones I bought smelt good. But Val was my saviour and chose them for me.... *sigh* Then I went home and packed.
Tues-->Picked up by uncle to go to WHISTLER! YAY! It was sunny and bright and, sadly, was the only day the week to be so nice.
Wed-->Woke up early and travelled up on the gondola to eat "fast tracks" breakfast, which was pretty decent for $17... but not the bestest ever. Whatever. The fresh powder untouched by anyone else was amazing, despite the freezing wind and thick fog. This was definitely NOT spring boarding, but it was still great to go on the double black runs and tumble down them through the fluffy powder. Overall a great day =)
Thurs-->Woke up early again, but no fast tracks breakfast. It was really wet and windy and cold, but the "powder" (if it was powder -- more like MUSH... ) was fun. I did the terrain park -- not so great. I landed a few rails, smashed my shins on another, and bruised my butt landing on some ice after a jump =(. I still can't sit without wincing. Bummer.
Fri--> We were supposed to go up again, but the rain was too gross- thick and heavy -- plus my bum was sore and my shins were bruised... so we came home. I got home around 1:30, ate lunch and looked at my mail. ANDDDD!!
GABY I MADE IT TO RIVIERE-DU-LOUP TOO!! =) =) It's going to be really fun. I looked at their residence and stuff again and it seems quite nice. But When? exactly are we going? Haha. Oh well... I guess I'll find out soon enough. I'm excited!
Have a fun rest of spring break everybody!! I still have to do my Physics and memorize my lines for Macbeth. Spring Break has proved, once again, to be too short. *sigh* Next week's major event = Encounter. (*sigh* I don't have a "meaningful" blanket....)
